2009 MTC Award Winners:

The MTC awards are given out at the Christmas Gala to award the achievements of athletes over the last 3 semesters. Nomination requirements are defined in the constitution.

The Coaches' Choice Award is independant of the awards decided by Council, and was created by Richard MacKenzie. The award is based on:

• attended workouts consistently; good attitude
• a pleasure to coach (listens, follows instructions)
• aims to improve, and does so!

It is not for the best athlete, and not necessarily for the most improved athlete ( though that is a big factor) -- it's really for the one who was, more than any others, a pleasure to coach.
