mtcpresident@gmail.com The McGill Triathlon Club has been a huge part of my life since 2002. I served on council from 2003 to 2007, and began bike coaching in 2008. I've tried moving on but found great difficulty without the incredible support the team gives to me day after day. You are all responsible for making the MTC great and I hope that I can help the team as much as all of you have done over the years. Please contact myself or council on any issues you have. I might not respond right away, or at all but please know that everything you take your time to share with us will be taken seriously. |

mcgilltriathlon@gmail.com As is typical of triathletes, Isabelle adores two sports and tries her best two muster up a little love for the third. A member of the MTC since 2003, she has made varied contributions including: cheesecakes, gingerbread cookies depicting fellow athletes, Hot Squad Awards and invitations to events all about town! She also happens to be the unofficial self-appointed Illiotibial Blues Band Fan Club President/Founder. Isabelle is eager to keep you informed and will gladly answer your questions. |

Jozina is the official MTC cheerleader. I'm the girl who organizes all the MTC adventures: Vol de Nuit debauchery, apple picking, Sunday morning brunch, cheering at the races. Since I am usually talking about adjectival modification in Javanese or deaccented prosodic domains all day, I find it so refreshing to hang out with other sport junkies to compare stroke technique, new stretches, and running cadence....at the bar. Work hard, party hard. |

1)...Swim, 2)...Bike, 3)...Run, 4) Injury? Transition? Corny rich jokes? I'm Nahid (aka. the gum chewer, Jeebs, P-C, Lionheart, Nahi-nahi etc.), your VP External and am a recent graduate of a thrilling (note the sarcasm) degree in Biochemistry. All I have to say to the new MTC-ers is to not be intimidated. I first signed up last year only doing two sports... in fact I would have drowned if you put me in the water (no joke) but with the dedication and patience that MTC offers, that soon changed. I encourage you to come meet me and/or e-mail me, and best of luck this year! |

Hailing from CT, Lena enjoys watching Planet Earth, snow, and relay races. She is currently in her fourth year as a McGill undergrad and aspires to one day be as cool as Nahid. Let her know if you have articles, pictures, or other bits of useful (or not) information for the website! |

I (just Charles for the French challenged) have been around McGill Triathlon Club since the start of my PhD -- quite a while now. I keep finding all sorts of ways to delay my return to 'real' life; notably, training every week during the equivalent of a part time job. I've chosen to be part of club council because MTC's coaching, programs and fellow athletes have produced dramatic performance gains and tons of fun through friendships with exceptional people. If you're ever looking for me: the long skinny gazelle legs during run workouts, the one trying to float through the swims. Training is like brushing your teeth: simple daily body maintenance. |
